Westcon-Comstor has announced a major milestone in its automation journey with Check Point Software, a pioneer and global leader of cybersecurity solutions, with the launch of a renewal API designed to accelerate channel partner growth.

Built for scalability, the API delivers significant value for partners and paves the way for a fully automated quote-to-cash process. It streamlines the renewal process, leading to faster turnaround times, fewer manual touchpoints and improved accuracy.

Partners will benefit from greater visibility and a much simpler, more efficient quoting experience. The project is already showing tangible results, delivering time savings, monetary value and greater operational efficiency.

Westcon-Comstor is the first distributor in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region to successfully deliver a project of this kind for Check Point, reinforcing its position as a leader in digital distribution.

The launch is the culmination of seven months of close collaboration between the two companies. Key benefits of the renewal API integration include:

  • Reduced quote turnaround: Speeds up the time it takes to get renewal quotes to partners and their end-users.
  • Automated data flow: Eliminates manual data entry, reducing the risk of errors and freeing up valuable team resources.
  • Scalability for growth: The API is built to handle increasing volume as the partnership grows.

“I’m incredibly proud of what our teams have accomplished together,” said Marianne Nickenig, Vice President, Revenue Operations Europe at Westcon-Comstor. “Pioneering this renewal API with a strategic partner like Check Point showcases the technical excellence and spirit of collaboration that drives our business. This is a crucial step in our commitment to automating the entire quote-to-cash process and simplifying operations for our partners – allowing them to focus on creating value for their customers. With partners seeking to optimise revenue at every stage of the solution lifecycle, renewals are an increasingly strategic priority and it’s our role as a value-added distributor to facilitate growth through initiatives such as this.”

“The value this new API brings to our joint partners is immense,” said Sylvia Fath, Head of Distribution EMEA at Check Point Software. “By simplifying our operational processes, we are making it easier than ever for partners to do business with us. This achievement is a testament to the strength of our partnership with Westcon-Comstor and accelerates our joint automation initiatives. We look forward to building on this success to deliver even more innovation and efficiency to our channel.”
